Buying Earrings (Don't Know Anything About Diamonds - Please Help)

It seems likely that they're the same seller and the same grader so what you're trading is a claimed extra 0.30cts of diamond for switching 10k to 14k.  Overall size of the piece and quality of the stones is probably the same.  It's really up to you.  I would probably pick 14k but there's not really anything I would say is 'better' about that, I just like it.  The ad claims slightly better clarity and color on the first set but, frankly, I don't believe it.

Thanks for your input & no, they are both from different sellers. But you are saying the first one has slightly better diamonds & more? (Not sure what ct means)

That's what it SAYS.  I'm not saying I agree with them and I take this sort of claim with a huge grain of salt.

The first one claims 1.5carats total weight. of SI clarity, H color

The second set claims 1.21 carats total weight of SI2-I1 clarity, H-I color.

ct is an abbreviations for Carat.  cts is plural.  cttw is carats total weight.
