Clarity Impact On Brilliance, Fire, Scintillation?

To those that have looked at hundreds/thousands of diamonds, does clarity alone have a noticeable impact on brilliance / fire / scintillation? I guess I'm wondering if inclusions inside the stone can impair the return of light in a meaningful way? Feel free to compare VVS vs. Si and VS vs. Si or VVS.. whatever you have noticed, if anything.

//Thanks!

Light refraction and optical face up appearance might be negatively affected in clarity grades starting at I-1 and down. Otherwise, very rarely, if ever, a factor.

If you're shopping with an on-line Diamond Vendor, Idealscope, ASET, and Brilliancescope data will clearly verify this to you.
