Looking For Princess Cut, But Not Sure My Criteria Is Right?

Ok, so I am trying to find a loose princess cut diamond for my future ring. I have done lots of hours of research for the perfect or almost perfect diamond. I want the best, but don't want to pay an outstanding price. I know I'm a woman and I'm crazy. But I have found some pretty good deals. I'm not in a huge rush, but do want to find something in the near future, 1-2 months. I would like to stay under $7,000. Most I have looked at under my criteria are more, but I have found some for less and have printed out those companies. I have looked at CE diamonds to all natural diamonds. There are some pretty good deals on Ebay as well. But I have looked at so many companies and have seen their names on different forums. One thing I do not want is to look down at my diamond and see an inclusion or any yellow. Can you help in educating me on my criteria or does it look good? Also, if you locate one, that would be great too.

Unfortunately you won't find a legitimately Graded (GIA or AGS) princess cut diamond in the D-F range SI+ clarity well cut for $7000.

You might see some listed on EBay but they won't be for real grades. You might find a clarity enhanced one for that price but keep in mind most clarity enhanced diamonds start out about I2 in clarity.

Jan,

Thanks for the info. Any opinions on this email I just received?

By the way, this was the diamond he is trying to sell me.

Princess Cut Diamond:

1.51Ct, F Color VS2 Clarity, EGL ISRAEL CERTIFICATE, $8720.00 (Cut and Symmetry Very Good/Very Good), No Fluorescence, Measurements: 73.5% 71% 6.22x6.11x4.49

Hi Crystal,

"Our final price would be 8770.00 as we really did our best with pricing already. This is a very high quality and rare diamond and we cannot make any further price discount.

This is the best deal in our vault for this size and quality diamond and it may sell out today therefore we cannot guarantee availability at all times.

Let me know if you are interested.

Thank you,"

By the way if you noticed, he went up $50..... LOL!!!
