Ok, I am ready to ask my girlfriend to marry me. I want this to be a total suprise so I recruited one of her friends to find out her ring size and preferences. (Thank goodness I did because what I had in mind was apparently totally wrong.)

Anyways, I ended up getting the ring online because it seemed like a much better value.

Here are the diamond specs:

Here are the ring specs:

Number of princess diamonds: 10

Minimum carat total

Now after reading this forum I have some worries. Are the little diamonds on the band going to look bad because they are of lower color and clarity than the big diamond? Also is VS2 clarity too low for the larger diamond? Are there any major problems with this diamond/ring?

The ring arrives in a few days. I can return it within the first 30 days. I hope it is not ugly when it arrives. I am probably just getting too nervous.

Thanks
