If it does not impart a hazy, oily, or opaque look to the diamond, then it's price should not be discounted compared to a non-fluorescent stone.

No matter what the size, rarely will it have a negative effect.

 

You should compare it side by side to a diamond that has no fluorescence. It is faces up beautifully and there is no visible difference, then you've probably saved yourself a couple hundred dollars at this size and quality.

 

i.e. Why pay for IF when VVS1 or 2 looks the same?

 

People pay for peace of mind and what they see on paper.
