Value of description

Recommended Posts

Diamond prices can vary a lot depending on things like the accuracy of the grading, the color, the cutting and the market conditions. Consider getting an appraisal from someone who has the opportunity to examine the piece and who can discuss with you the various issues at play.

To be a little more blunt that Neil since he's a nice guy, the document you have right now is worthless.. Bright White can be anything from a D to an H depending on the person that wrote the description.. The same goes for "good quality diamond".. Far to vague to be of any use at all in determining value..

If you want to place a genuine number on the value, for insurance purposes, or for resale, or just because you are curious, take it to an appraiser..
