Price Question

I don't know

You can use the link at the top titled 'find online jeweler' to find advertisements of similar stones being offered by a variety of different dealers. This can give you a pretty good idea of the pricing in at least one marketplace. Other markets are different and if, for example, you were wanting to sell it, you would probably find it difficult to realize these prices. Most jewelry stores charge more than what you see listed here.

Family friends are good.

'Great' family frinds are even better.

Cheap prices are good too.  :P

You're off to a good start.

What's the source of the grading information?

Have you seen the stone?  Do you like it?

Neil

The source is GIA. The stone is ok. I was shown a G color stone (practically the same everything else) for almost $1500 more. The color difference between G & H is so slight that I think Im going with the H.

DOES IT MATTER IF I LIKE IT???? :P

As for the $4800 find. My guy is a little over that.

Everything else is details.

It sounds like you've worked out what specs are important to you, you've chosen a dealer that works the way you like and who has something suitable for sale, and you're happy with the pricing. What other details do you need to resolve?
