Value for Money

I've bought an engagement ring from eBay Australia. The ad states that it is I-J in colur, is a white diamond and is P2-P3 in clarity and is .5 carat set in yellow gold. I've looked on several web pages and cannot even seem to find a scale that includes P ratings. The ring is advertised for at least $AU2477. I won the bid at $AU750. Just wondering if the price paid is reasonable, or have I been dudded?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

ok, I was in the mood to research this morning so this is what I found:

P2 = I2 in Aussie standards. found this on several Australian websites...

Searching the online database, a diamond in the color/clarity/size range you provided was listed for anywhere between $300-600 US.

Converting this AU $ to US $, the 750.00 = 551.00

I don't know if you got a 'good deal' or not, but at least you have some facts now upon which to make your determination.
