How do prices for different shapes compare assuming identical characteristics (color, clarity, cut, etc). Is there any chart showing this comparison?

Thanks,

George

All things being equal, the rule of thumb I've used for years is that the price for rounds is usually 10% higher than for fancies, but this varies quite a bit, based on demand, popular styles, and shortages.

Unrelated to your question, but you may find this page interesting (scroll to the bottom). It's a chart that compares different diamond shapes to women's personalities, based on real empirical research.
