Question about SI1

For a round cut diamond, where is the ideal place for the inclusions? From my perspective- I don't like seeing them in the center of the diamond and feel they are better "hidden" on the sides. But is their a risk of easier chipping if the incursions are near the edges of the side cuts? thanks for the help

Always better to have inclusions on the sides, or if they are in the center for them to be white so that they blend in with the stone.

Side inclusions are usually not of concern if they do not break the surface plane of the diamond. In GIA or AGS graded stones, SI clarities are safe.

Center black carbon spots will tend to be invisible if the Cut of the diamond is superior.
