I am in a relationship with a girl and I want to propose with diamond proposal rings, but lack of knowledge of diamond I am not able to find which diamond jewellery store is the best.

I am looking for a designer and trendy proposal rings that like my girlfriend.

So, please suggest me some trusted supplier of diamond jewellery.

Thanks in advance

Hey Adam,

Do you know diamond ring buying is not a big task if you have an internet connection?

There are lots of blogs and website that offer a diamond buying guide that will become helpful when you plan to buy diamond ring, especially for your sweetheart.

Below I am sharing some online stores that you may consider to buy proposal rings at affordable price.

[promotional info redacted]

If you want to more information about diamond jewellery, just personal msg me.

This is an unusual selection of online stores - only one link provided, to a non-descript Singapore diamond broker site which uses loose terminology ("Signature Ideal" = 41.2 pavilion, 34 crown with a 59% table and 4% girdle???)?

The second name mentioned is a Singapore jewellery manufacturer who does not seem to sell anything online, but just allows you to see CAD renderings of their product lines.

The third name is admittedly big and sells jewellery online (though I would call their site a fairly half-hearted attempt compared to their stores), but it is everything except affordable.

The rather disingenuous invitation to "PM me for more" is the cherry on the cake.

If I were a less polite person, I'd call this shilling. However, I have simply reported your post for moderation.

@adamchrist - let us know a little more about what you would be looking for:

  • Do you want to select a diamond and a setting separately? This generally gives you access to "better" diamonds than shopping for an already complete ring, but it does require a bit more work.

  • What is important for you (her) in a diamond? Super-lively and sparkling cut? Big and impressive stone? Flawless clarity, or total absence of colour? Of course all of them, but if you had to choose, what would you pick first?

  • Do you have some specific styles of setting that you know she likes? ("trendy" is IMHO not a good idea: she is going to wear that engagement ring for a good long while, and what was trendy yesterday is vaguely ridiculous tomorrow, until it becomes trendy again. Flared trousers, anyone?),

  • Do you have an approximate budget in mind?

Then we can provide more focused advice.

Hello Davide Levi,

Thanks for your good advice on diamond jewellery, but my big brother placed order from Michael Trio. He said this is the best online store to place diamond jewellery and give option to us customize own jewellery.

So, I appreciate your advice

Thanks once again

Since "coincidentally" the store referred to by your brother and the one-time shill that posted a reply are the same, I think I will report the whole conversation again... since I'm too polite to call it spamming/covert advertising.

Simply the fact that you have making a few posts apparently at random on "dead" threads without an introduction or explanation of who you are or why you are here, and very quickly here you are recommending a jeweller.

Don't get me wrong - people can post wherever they like, but generally this behaviour is that of a shill, not that of a genuine poster. On the other hand, the fact that you have bothered replying is a sign that you may instead be a genuine poster interested in diamonds and not in advertising - in which case, doubly welcome to stay around and contribute!

Buying jewelry online may involve high risks. There are many e-retailers offering beautiful and valuable jewelry. But you can come across a lot of problems with customer service, delivery, refunds, etc. Therefore, it is very important to carry out an in-depth research to get a better insight of the seller. Before purchasing a necklace from Kay Jewelers I checked out Kay Jewelers reviews here https://kay-jewelers.pissedconsumer.com/review.html to become familiar with consumer’s feedback. A consumer advocacy platform is a very useful source of information today. The experience of real customers may help you avoid all hidden stones.

And despite the unfavourable reviews you purchased from them? And then you come here warning people about the risk of buying jewellery online? I don't think I follow.
