18k yellow gold necklace. Floral motif. Vintage/antique collectors item. Custom piece. Contains seven Rhodalite garnets (oval shape @8.50 x 6.50mm) Color I, Clarity VS1. Center piece is an old mine cut diamond surrounded by small seed pearls. This necklace has been appraised for value and quality by a GIA certified gemologist and professional jewelry appraiser. Age of item is Circa 1920's Stones are prong set and total length of necklace is 18 inches. Total item weight is @ 9.77 grams and is regarded as being in very good condition. Just out of curiosity, how did you set your price?  In particular, did you discuss the matter with your appraiser?  'Replacement' value doesn't really have much to do with this.

Yes I also had it appraised for retail. He suggested that they the piece is unique and in very good condition being almost 100 yrs old. He said I should set approx same as replacement value and adjust depending on the market and the individual buyer plus how fast I wanted to sell.

No need to delete comments I don't see how they could pose a problem.
