EGL certificate

Have been told that EGL certificates are not properly recognised certificates, and it does not have much value. Is this true?

it is not true ,E.G.L is known to give the benefit of the doubt ,if the color is a border line they give the better color whereas the g.i.a doesnot.therefore buying them cheaper therfore on a resale selling them cheaper.
