Hello there,
I am currently in the middle east trying to put together an engagement ring. The local retailers have searched out and found a round .60, d/e, and an IF. However they do not list the quality of the cut. What is the most I should pay for this? They started at $4900 and being the middle east ended with $4050 after nearly a month of bartering and shopping around. Any help would be greatly appreciated. James hein

James;

It is very difficult to answer your question without knowing the specs
of this diamond.

1. Does it have a Cert?
2. Which Lab?
3. Does it have a Sarin or MegaScope report?
4. Does it have a BrillianceScope
Report?

If you obtain this information,
we will have a basis to judge the asking
price.

Seems high...I just took a friend to my jeweler, David Lob at Liberty Diamond cutters, 949-261-8663 or 1-866-LDC-6789 and he bought an ideal cut .92CT D, VS2 for $3000...He has absolute integrity and I'd give him a call before making a purchase. Tell him you want Deb's discount!
