My husband recently purchased an eight diamond anniversary band for my birthday. Shortly before he gave it to me, the business went under. I took it to have it resize and my jeweler became very upset. He says that the diamond are wonderful, but the setting is bad. Something to do with the mixtured of the gold. He's afraid that if I will lose the diamond out of it due to the brittleness. My jeweler has never seen the manufactorers mark before. If anyone could help me identify the maker so that I can contact them, I would appreciate it.
The marking are:
14K ZE1
Thank you for your time,

Sounds like a cheap overseas manufacture.
The jeweler was right to turn the job down.
