Overseas with the military trying to by 1.0tcwt studs on the internet as a coming home gift. Have seen a bunch of 4C writeups. What I need, if possible, is to get some advice on the best combination of factors that result in the best looking but still reasonably priced set of earrings. For instance, why buy VS1 clarity if SI2 will do as great looking jewelry? Should I buy the best cut and sacrifice some on color or clarity. What is your opinion on the best of these tradeoffs. What I'm looking at is 1.02tcwt ,E-F, VS2-SI1, Tolkowski Ideal, $3500. About right or too much diamond for too much money. Thanks.
