IGI credibility or opinions

My husband bought me a ring that is cert and branded by IGI. The "stats" are excellant, but the stone is just not very sparkly. Should I trust what the report says or should I take it back???

Please help!!

IGI is known to be sold mostly at mall stores and chain outfits.

I like to stay with either GIA and a sarin or AGS to get more details on the cut grade.
