Did I get ripped Off?

I bought a round .5ct, i-j color, SI1-SI2, diamond, supposedly excellent cut from Helzberg Diamonds, Mi. I paid $2200. Was that a good deal? I believe i overpaid alot. Can't tell from the charts exactly. Any help would be great.
