This is GIA certified. I know a little bit of the basics for diamond buying, but this seemed cheap. It's priced around 3900. Good deal or not?
Should I Buy This 0.85 Round Cut?

It's fairly priced. The cut is not super - it's what is called a spready stone, which may look larger in some respect (and it is nearly as big as a full carat), but it may look less fiery (coloured sparkles) than a really well cut stone. If you like the look, go for it.
Also, bear in mind that you are paying a premium for the VVS2 clarity, but a VS2 will be equally "clean" and allow you to get (in my opinion) a better looking diamond for the same money. For example this one: http://www.uniondiam...E0235762&ptc=DR

The reason it is cheap is the cut. Although it is called a very good cut on the lab report, there is alot of variance in the very good cut grade. I would step it up to ideal cut or excellent cut. There are even variances in those higher cut grades, but you are less likely to get a dead stone.
