My local jeweler has a 2.5c for sale, but not interested in their price. Looking for one between 2 and 2.5c, stone be certified (typically these kinds are anyways), please contact me through the forum in my profile.

I'm only aware of hearts and arrows being available in a Round, because most of the square cut diamonds are either a Radiant facet arrangement or an Emerald (Asscher) facet arrangement, neither of which really allow for that pattern. I would imagine any signature cut that produces that is going to be rather hard to shop, since it's going to be proprietary (any other pros chime in here?)

Beyond that, you're giving us no other information as to what you're looking for besides size and shape. You're leaving out a LOT of important information: Do you care about Color or Clarity at all? How about Cut? I mean, I'm sure we can find you a square cut diamond in that size range, but what if it's a M I2? Want that? I'm guessing not. Certified, sure, but by whom? Not all labs are created equal. Without that information, and/or the budget you're looking to stay within, we'd all just be taking stabs in the dark.

Thanks Laurie.

~2.5 carat, G-I color, SI1 clarity, hearts and arrows square cut.

For the stone, my budget is about $30K. I found two so far, $33K and $65K. The latter is out of my price range, the former is my last resort.

It's going to go on a verragio venetian halo setting.

Laurie - H&A squares do exist. Look up "Princess of Hearts" or "Hearts on Fire Dream Cut" or "EightStar" (and I suspect some Tiffany Novo stones may well show H&A-like patterns under a 'scope). Also some unbranded stones were on the market soon after the branded cuts appeared. However, they were never all that popular, to the point that some manufacturers have stopped cutting them.

Greg - I think you are trying to find a needle in a haystack - but sometimes there are needles in the biggest haystacks. Good luck!

Hi Greg,

Be sure to let me know if you change your mind - FYI to give you an idea of pricing we have a 2.19 ct H SI1 with an AGS certificate for well under $30,000 (among others).

Good luck to you on your quest to purchase the perfect diamond :).

Kind regards,

Manuel
