It was purchased in 2007 at Simayof in Las Vegas and has been kept in a safety deposit box, having been worn less than a dozen times. This ring is in MINT condition, and is absolutely stunning in person. It really stands out from most of the other cookie cutter engagement rings commonly seen.
The center stone is a 1.54 carat Princess cut 4-prong set diamond. It measures 6.52 x 6.39 x 4.41MM. Its color rating is G, and it has a clarity rating of VS2.
The two side stones are also Princess cut 4-prong set diamonds with a total weight of 0.62 carats. They each have a color rating of G, and their clarity is VS2 like the center stone's.
Finally there is a beautiful glittering Pave-set melee of Round cut diamonds covering all sides of the 18k White Gold ring, with a total weight of 0.28 carats. Their color rating is G, and their clarity rating is SI1. The Total Weight of the ring comes out to 2.44 carats.
This ring is EGL (European Gemological Laboratory) certified, and included with its purchase will be all of the appraisal documentation, which as of 2007, stated its value at $17,025.00. This was 4 years ago, and since then, diamond prices have increased dramatically. A current day appraisal would easily put this ring closer to $20,000.00.
It is painful for me to have to let go of my most treasured piece of jewelry, but unfortunately, I have no other choice given my current circumstances. Hopefully it can bring as much joy to another newlywed as it did to me.
I am asking $8,995 or best offer.
Thank you,
Lisa
