So I double checked that my setting was on Eastern Standard Time (GMT -5), but when I look at the forum, it displays everything in Pacific time. Is there a way to have it display the time for me in my time zone? I know it should be easy to just subtract 3 hours, but sometimes it seriously throws me off to look at the time on posts and figure it out. (I think it's a "too many hours starting at a computer screen" thing)

Odd. The time zone setting seems to work for me. It's just a few minutes before 5 pm where I am, and your post above shows as 4.32 pm.

The time stamp on the post itself when i read the thread--yes. it's correct. If I look on the homepage, it's 3 hrs behind.

I don't even have a timestamp on the home page. The only date/time I have there is the "latest update" of the Diamond Finder. I wonder if mods have a different screen layout, and if so whether some of the date/time fields there are not reflecting time zone adjustment?

I'm not sure...i'm talking about the "last post updated" time, and on my display on the homepage, it's 3 hrs behind. If i could figure out how to do a screen capture on this computer, I'd show ya.

Like this? E.g. showing your post above as latest post? It works fine for me, so I assume it's a setup or browser issue on your PC (I'm using Chrome).

not on the forum main page. on the main DR page where it shows the last 5 or 6 topics. don't worry about it. I'll figure out how to take a screen shot and see if Hermann can sort it out for me, if it can be with the software :)

Aaahh - I see. Well, if it's any consolation, it's in PST for me too... but I never use it, so I never noticed!

Click on your name on top right (registration & sign-in/out box), select "Settings", and that should let you change to your timezone. It probably defaults to Pacific bc that's where I am :-)
