Since the holidays have a way of bringing out the kid in all of us, what toy, game, cartoon character, etc, from your childhood have you never outgrown? Serious is good. Silly is better ;)

Don't be shy!

me--I'm 35 and have NEVER outgrown my love of Hello Kitty. I really had to exercise restraint the other day when I saw a mini "Hello Kitty" figurine necklace. Talked myself out of it b/c I'd probably never wear it as a necklace, but totally just wanted the little figurine to set on my desk. But the next time I see the Hello Kitty waffle iron in a store, I might not be able to do the same.... and watch out--they actually make a Hello Kitty bowling ball! It's actually pretty awesome!

Ok....so who's next to own up to their inner child? :)

I'm nearly 10 years older. I still enjoy playing with Lego. And what is worse, I even make presents of it to my children so we can play together.

Computers.... I started playing with them at 11 years old. Maybe that's why I love my work (computer stuff) so much!

Hmmm - good point. Does a TI-58C count as a computer? ;)

Then add it (and its more evolved - and more frustrating) relatives to the Lego bill...

I love Teddy Bears. I have a curio cabinet filled with them. I know most people put figures and stuff but I just love my bears. If I see an old worn out one I have to have it to save it:) My husband sees the old ones as junk but I see them as beautiful and well loved. I have collected bears from all around the world and they bring me back to my travels.

That's very sweet, maude :) I always say "well loved" too, when I see worn-out toys and such...cuz that's how they got that way!

Somewhere, I have a "well loved" (and probably well neglected at this point. oops) Cabbage Patch doll. Well, two actually. a regular and a preemie. I still remember their names. Bethany Serena and Delora Teena. (and yes, they're the names that they came with). Funny the things that stick with us! :)
