So with Halloween coming up, I thought I'd ask everyone what is/are your favorite candy? Is it a holiday-only thing like candy corn or a good old standard like snickers? And if you buy it, will you actually be giving it out to your trick-or-treaters, or stashing more of it away for yourself?

My personal faves are:
York Peppermint Patties
Reeses (the reg size ones....something about the minis leave me wanting. i think the chocolate/pb balance is off )
Milky way dark MINIS (this one they only get right, afaic, in the mini)
and
Candy corn (much to my bf's chagrin )

Well, then I'm torn. But I'll stick to the chocolate factory across the river: Felchlin. Or if you want something easier to find, Lindt. Pretty much any tipe, kind or variety.

oooooh! i love Lindt chocolates! we have a store at one of the high-end malls around here and they have an amazing variety of chocolates and other candies. my faves there are the fruit jellies. but everything there is too $$ to give for halloween candy! if we're talking JUST halloween type candy.... tough to decide! mini 3 musketeers and tootsie rolls, i guess

On the other hand, spam such as lapss321 is not to everybody's taste. At Halloween or any other time.

Ok...gotta say this one cracks me up! it read like "i like to eat chocolate silver jewelry". I bet that's rough on the teeth, not to mention the wallet! and the mess when you wear it?!
