All of them look pretty great. Prices seem reasonable, so really, you have to just choose which one you LIKE the best if they all fit in your budget. Personally, I'd go for the last one, I think.

I think it's interesting that whoever had them certed had them inscribed H&A. you don't see that all the time :)

Thank you for you help. I have been searching for about 1 month. I cound't find any venders around where I live have H&A so I decided to look online. First I like the first diamond then later on I like the last one, but my concern is I'm not sure that the could will affect the sparkleing of diamond or not.....

Thanks again.

At VS1 (or indeed pretty much any clarity grade better than I1), no inclusion will affect the sparkle of the diamond. You won't see the cloud at all without some pretty careful inspection using a loupe.

Have your vendor look at the stones personally. Not all stones inscribed with H&A are actually hearts and arrows diamonds. I've seen some that were not. Any reason you are not looking at AGS ideal cut diamonds with platinum reports?

My husband perfers GIA. Do you think the price is too hight? I'll order online because I cound't fine any diamonds that have H&A around where I live....:-( I dont' know much about diamond so please advice.

One of my friend who work for GIA told me I should go with #3 if I worry about "Clould" the shown a lot in the front.
I'm still thinking about #3 or 4 is better for me. By the way, my husband will go to it if I really like. Thanks all of you and I'll show my ring after I buy the diamond...

JanJan - a couple of things that you seem to believe are actually not true:

1. somebody putting a girdle inscription saying "H&A" does NOT in any way tell you that the stone IS H&A. Even assuming you and the vendor can agree on what H&A means (more difficult than it seems), there is no-one to grade or certify that the stone actually complies with that standard.

2. report plots are NOT a reliable indication of how visible an inclusion is going to be. They are simply provided to help people identify the diamond, but the fact that you see one (or many) clouds "bang in the middle" of the plot does not mean you will see them at all when looking at the stone.

Thank you Davidelevi,

Thank you to explaint to me. You are right about H&A. and I don't know how is differnt between H&A or without H&A either. I even went to Heart on Fire to look at the diamonds, but the price are too expensive then other vendor 3 times more.... So if I don't have any body that I know go to buy some diamond with me I do have to choose 3 Excellent plus H&A that might help the diamond at least look good....

Could you please help me choose with those 4 diamonds? Which one do you think is better?

Thanks again.

I cannot answer that question without seeing the diamonds - in terms of specs, there is very little to choose among them. As a hunch, #3 or #4, but it's a hunch, and anyway by the time you have things down to a shortlist such as this one, it really comes down to personal preference for how one diamond looks.

Hello JanJan!

It's good to know that you are going to post the picture of your ring, hopefully soon ;).
Then again on #4, considering H&A and the price.
The thing about the inscription is that H&A exists.
BUT it can be an H&A to one expert and not-so to another...
So let's see what's the use of H&A, if two or more experts agreed that it's the real deal, excellent choice, indeed flattering.
If not, at least it's still convincing, cute and adorable...

Keep us posted~

Thank you all,

Finally, my husband chose #3. The thing about H&A isn't important more then the cut.
Also the price isn't diffent from diamonds without H&A. So I think it depents on the cut.

I will post my ring in next couple weeks.:)
I like this webite at least I learn more about the diamond and asked some expert befroe buying diamond.

Thanks again.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy your new diamond for a long time to come!

For the avoidance of doubt - and the benefit of others reading through the thread:

1. There is no commonly agreed definition/standard for "Hearts & Arrows" - what somebody calls H&A, someone else may argue is not; neither one is "right". IF H&A is important to you (it wasn't in this case, but it may be), make sure you and the vendor agree on what H&A means (e.g. clefts in the hearts, separation between arrow shaft and head)

2. A girdle inscription saying "H&A" means NOTHING. Or rather, it means that someone at some point decided to put that inscription on it. Please do not assume that any stone with "H&A" inscribed on the girdle shows a Hearts & Arrows pattern - check it yourself, if it is important to you.

@devide..

Ouch... Hahaha..

Let's see why one would pick a stone with H & A inscription ..

Because it's like a tattooed stone, which is honestly sweet and sexy.
Their initials are Heather & Anthony.

Besides the argument, it's inexplicable girl thing!

Just for laughs.. Cheers!

@ JanJan

We'll wait for the pic.. :)

Hm. For some reason I'm reminded of the old joke:

Lawyer: So, what did your husband say to you when he woke up?
Witness: I recall that well - he said: 'Where are we, Kathy?'
Laywer: And why did that upset you?
Witness: Because my name is Heather.
