Most of the regular posters here are in the BUSINESS or selling things on the internet so I'm not sure who you think is against it but there is quite a bit more information before you can get a useful opinion on the stone you're considering. For starters, who graded it and have you seen it?

Where are you? Is the seller in the same country?

Also, if they're heavily taxed where you live, will you not be required to pay duty to have it shipped there? Or will you be having it shipped to another country and picking it up or having a friend or relative bring it to you? Just curious, because that was the work-around we used sometimes when I worked in internet sales.

Anyway, without saying about the price, hard to say if you're getting a good value for money, but it sounds like a good stone. Can't go wrong if the price is fair.

Good luck and congrats in advance! :)

Thanks thanks.Grading by GIA. It is not from the same country so all I can see is just a photo of it. This is going to sound silly (me being a noob and all), i read on other threads that even a D colour may look dull. However, if the cut, polish, symmetry are all excellent would it be safe to say that it should be fine?
Ya I will be shipping to relative's place in hongkong (tax free woohoo!).
price at $7500.
Good deal?

Yes. the Cut matters--but if you're triple Excellent, you really have nothing to worry about, and comparing prices online, you're getting a fair price as best I can tell. And you have an F color with no Fluorescence, so with the Cut Grade being good, you have nothing else that I can tell that could interfere with the appearance of the diamond. And cheers on having someone in HK to send to--gotta love that no duty! :)

Congrats in advance :)

The characteristics look fine.
The question is how much you have to pay for it, what kind of gemological certificate does this stone have and what is the qualiy of the setting that you intend to set the stone in. Does the stome come alone? Do you get with a ring?
