Should I buy a 4 ct tennis bracelet with 40 si3 i1 clarity diamonds for $2600 (14ct gold). I read that Si3 does not exist. But will it matter in 40 samll stones in a bracelet? Is this a good price? Jim

SI3 is not a GIA grade. SI3-I1 isn't even an EGL grade. Assume that they are AT BEST I1 and shop accordingly. Whether or not this is a problem for you depends on your own taste for such things. I1 (and I2 for that matter) is not a defect, it's just a descriptor. With low end tennis bracelets, the craftsmanship on the gold is often as an important an issue as the grading of the stones. Have you seen the bracelet? Do you like it?
