Assuming same price... Round center stone. Please help me choose...

E Color, 1.01, EGI cert, SI1, VG Cut, VG Polish, VG Sym, Depth: 61.8%, Table 61%, Cutlet No, Flour No

H Color, 1.07, GIA cert, SI1, Ex Cut, Ex Polish, Ex Sym, Depth: 62.2%, Table 55%, Cutlet No, Flour No

Have you seen them?

I would not trust the EGL grades at any rate.

Apart from that, there is no way to say without (a lot) more information - ideally gathered through a pair of eyes.

Incidentally: it's culet and fluorescence. Nothing to do with the kitchen in either case.

Yes, show some pictures please!
Without seeing the actual diamonds, I would lean towards the first diamond with D color. H color is already quite visibly yellowish and in my view detracts quite a bit from the look of the diamond.

Nola - sorry, but I don't agree that a (properly graded) H is visibly yellowish. Especially a well cut H, when set, will not be visibly coloured at all. And the bigger issue here is that we don't know what the so-called "E" is like at all.

I wouldn't go with an EGL either and I agree a GIA-graded H won't be visibly yellowish. Also, that E color may very well also be a G itself if GIA graded it.

If you ever try to resell it you'll probably have better luck with the GIA certification too.
