I have a Round cut 2.2 carat engagement ring for sale, it is an H on the color scale and Vs-2 on the clarity scale. Its set on white gold with pave diamonds around the band and the center diamond sits high so it looks like 3.5 carats as many people have told me, very dainty and gorgeous! Getting a divorce and I payed for the ring so I would like to get money out of my investment:) It was appraised at $26,000.00 and is insured for that amount. I am not sure what the resale value is just yet but I am looking for offers right now so if you are interested please let me know. Thanks

Yes, always be careful when reselling your items online. You could have your efforts intercepted by a spammer

Do you have any picturesof your ring. I would love to see it. Also is the diamond Gia Cetified? A picture of the certificate would also be helpful. I have been looking for an engagment ring like you have described.

Talk to your appraiser about how to set prices for whatever marketplace it is that you're considering selling into. It may be worth your trouble to get GIA lab paperwork on the center diamond if you don't already have it.

I am sorry to hear of your divorce. The problem is always that when rings are purchased at retail stores , they are usually marked up very high by the store , can even be up to 50% higher than the market value.

I completely agree with denverappraiser , I believe that with a GIA certificate it would be much easier for you to sell this ring if you have not already sold it. Normally I would suggest to look at purchasing [unapproved link removed] online , the market is way more competitive and the rings are normally 30% off than in real stores. Of course you must always make sure you are getting a decent certificate so that the product you are purchasing is indeed the one you are sold.
