The first trip my girlfriend and i took was to Boston. I am planning on proposing this weekend and was thinking about going back to Boston to do it. Thinking of staying at the same hotel and proposing by the Christmas tree in Boston Commons. Thoughts?

It sounds a really nice idea - and it's a great place. Shame you can't order gentle snow falling on the day, but there's good chances...
Only caveat - I remember some of the hotels in which we stayed when my wife and I began going out together, and I wouldn't relish the idea of going back there for a celebration.

Thanks for the heads up on the hotels. The one we stayed at before was out of this world. I work for an airline and get deals good enough that allow us to stay in places we couldn't afford otherwise
