Hi,

I am looking for an engagement ring and a wedding band for my future wife. I have a ball park idea for the wedding band, the standing one that can be seen on the picture attached ([url]http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1219/1434313782_13b81e68d5_m.jpg[/url]) but with 7 stones and in white gold.

I also need to find an solitaire engagement ring that matches in size (appr 2,5mm wide and 2mm high), shape (slightly rounded with straight sides) etc. that sits flush with the wedding band (I personally like the traditional Tiffany setting but it needs to match and flush the wedding band in the style seen on the picture). In regards to the centre diamond, I am thinking somewhere close to 0,4 ct, ideal, F, VVS2.

I am trying to fit those two rings in to a budget of appr. 2500 USD, I realize that might be hard so the budget do have sime flexibility. I preferably want to find the two rings at a jeweller that has business online.

After screening the interesting discussions on the forum I am positive that someone might be able to help me find what I am looking for or something even better. I (and hopefully my future wife) would be eternally grateful.

Budget-wise it should be feasible. A well cut 0.4x/F/VVS2 should cost somewhere between $1300 and $1600 online. The shape and size of the wedding band is not uncommon, and it should be fairly easy to find a matching solitaire setting. Whiteflash has a wedding band like the one you want (I think) for $795, and I am positive something similar can be found for a little less (if perhaps with slightly less nice stones) which leaves about $200-300 for the engagement ring setting, which is reasonable for WG.

I would suggest taking a look at Stuller's online catalogue, and seeing whether something in there looks like what you want; you should be able to get a local or online jeweller to give you a price for that fairly easily.

We have a nice .58ct VS1 G AGS ideal cut round diamond that we could put in a solitaire setting to fit flush next to the band you pictured. It would be in your budget as well If you want the tiffany style ring we also can do that. If your interested let me know.
