H&A is a fairly generic name for a symmetrically-cut diamond, and as far as I know James Allen does not select particular cut parameters. WF ACA's are selected based on a "secret recipe", and will probably perform better (whatever that means) than a generic H&A picked at random. Whether they match (or better) another brand like Hearts on Fire is - frankly - a subjective issue.
Round vs. princess is a slightly different issue. A round diamond a. will look bigger for a given weight and cut proportions, and b. generally returns more light than a square cut. Also, there are many more suppliers of branded, high cut-quality rounds than there are of princesses, which results in more choice and greater pressure on prices for precision-cut rounds (although a round will still cost more per carat than a princess, all else being equal)
