Hi Everybody, I am new here.
I am married for 4 years, which means I have a diamond ring for 4 years. I wear it almost everyday. At the second year, I found out the ring surface is kind of wired. It is a yellow gold look one. The gold surface began to peel off and the inside looks like metal instead of "white gold" or what ever. I am afarid my husband bought a fake one for me.

It doesn't sound promising but try taking it in to a jeweler. Identifying real gold isn't usually that difficult for someone who is familiar with working with the metal and most jewelers will be happy to do it for free.
