Hello everyone!

I'm new to the Diamond review, but I have been gathering loads of information thanks to all of you and other forums such as pricescope. I'm excited to get my first engagement ring! I would really appreciate your opinions on this topic.

I found the perfect Ritani setting at Shane Co. It was the cheapest of all the places I looked. However, I am still comparision shopping on the center stone.

The reps at Shane Co have been very understanding and accomodating to me.

Does anyone have any experience setting a WF or GOG diamond at a B&M retail store such as Shane Co? Any issues or problems? I think both diamonds I purchased online have an AGS engraving in the girdle, so i could ask the jeweler to set it so It could be easily viewed.

Would it be in my best interest to have it set at Shane Co, or sent to the online vendor to be set - and forgo Shane Co's lifetime warranty?

With that in mind, anyone have negative experience with Shane Co's warranty?

Thank you for your thoughts and constructive criticisms.

I'm considering the same option with Ben Bridges, and also interested in hearing anyone else's experience.
