Why are you buying a diamond in a rush?

I am not buying in a rush necessarily, but there is someone else looking at the same stone. I wanted to put in an offer before they did - but I have spent quite some time looking, and plan to continue looking until I find the right one.

I hate to say this, but it sounds like a pressure tactic to me....If it was an extremely rare type of stopne- such as a pink maybe.....but there's quite a few diamonds just like what you are looking at available.
In fact, the pressure tactic makes it sound like this is a good one to skip!

booswin452,
It's a very fair price for what could be a very nice diamond, but it isn't the last diamond on earth. Take your time, do some research online, then buy from someone who offers you confidence and value.
My only other suggestion would be to consider diamonds in the VS2 range, as it will really broaden the number of choices, potentially save you money and/or allow you to go even larger in size (if you wanted).
All the best,
