Hi everybody,

I would like to aks your opinion on my conversation with a sales person from abazias.com.

I liked their website, but they didn't have the setting I was looking for. So I contacted the company to ask if they could get the other setting. I have a bad feeling with the person that was taking care of my inquirey. It seems that the diamonds are overpriced, she wanted me to buy uncertified diamonds and she claims there is no cut grade on these diamonds. Please read my email conversation with her and let me know your opinion. I add the diamonds description at the end. THe jpg with the GIA report is almost not readable so I had to go to the GIA website with the number to get the actual data...

Thank you for your request with Abazias. We should be able to get a
three stone trellis setting for you. Our designer makes them I know for
a fact, so we would just need to know about the center and side stones
you would want to put in it so they can make it to fit. Do you have any
specific stones you are looking at? Thanks!

I'm looking for a 0.5ct -0.55ct princess center stone with excellent cut, VS clarity, F color, Polish & Symetrie Very Good. (e.g. Stock#: 37313281)

I want the side stones (princess cut) to be similar quality as the center stone with about 0.25ct - 0.3 ct each. I couldn't find any stones like that on your website.
I am planning to spent $3500 on the ring.
How long would it take to order the Trellis setting from your designer? Would it be also available in Palladium?

I found a .46 F VS1 very good very good GIA priced at 1309.72 credit or
1280.27 cash. I found two .3 D VS1 stones that match up very well as a
pair and they would be available for you at 1195.31 for the pair. That
is a total of 2505.03 for the stones with some left over for the
setting. These are some of the best options that I have found so far
that would meet up with the price range and are still GIA certified.
They look like very nice stones. Let me know if you would like me to
send the certificates on them. Thanks!

you can send me the GIA certificates. Do you have a price on the Trellis setting and would it be available in Palladium?

Here are the certificates, I think these stones would work really well
together. I am finding out what the price would be for the trellis
setting in palladium and as soon as they give me a price I'll get back
with you for that part. Take a look at these and see what you think.The
second attachment shows both of the smaller stones. If you have any

I can't find the cut grade of the diamonds on the GIA. Please let know the grades. Is there a table like for round brilliants, where I can figure out the cut grad, using the girdle?

Many times GIA won't give a cut grade, they only just started giving cut
grades for princess stones, so without having them recertified it would
be hard to get a cut grade for them. These are going to be very nice
stones though, they have the vg vg on polish and symmetry which is going
to let them reflect light really well and sparkle and have a lot of
life. Thanks!
