Hello there,

My name is Shannon, my friends call me Shanaynay.

I never thought it would happen, but I have just become engaged.

My man, Scott, decided to wait on the ring and let me pick it out. He did not want to make the wrong decision. It was a good call! I do love him, but I do not think he would have chosen the right ring for me.

Anyways, I found this forum online and I have decieded to join.

I thought it would be fun to share my experiences and also get some feedback from all of you.

I am just starting my search for the perfect ring.

I do know that I want to buy my band and diamond seprate. The band is most important to me. Of course I want a nice diamond, but the band is what makes the ring for me.

I do know a little about wedding rings. I love the princess cut, I want a round diamond and I also like French Pave.

I would love any suggestions or feedback as my journey begins. Thank you.
