I want to find a princess cut diamond that truly sparkles. It is my understanding that I need to find a diamond that is brilliant, scintillating, has fire, and does well under light tests. My question is how does one find these diamonds? Do any online dealers offer this information and is it trustworthy?

You’re spot on that finding a trustworthy dealer is the key to finding a good princess. Informed professional advice is very helpful, especially with fancy shapes. There’s a discussion in the FAQ about doing this that you might find helpful.

So as far as anyone knows, there is no way to tell about this from an online dealer?

1) Find a trustworthy dealer
2) Ask 'em.

There are several vendors who will be happy to call in a few stones for review, do a comparison and provide you all the information to make an informed and confident decision.

When you speak to any online dealer make sure to ask him for some pictures of the stone.
