I've been dying to share this with somebody, but I really want it to be a surprise for all my friends and family. I am planning to propose to my girlfriend on Dec 23rd (Festivus for you Seinfeld fans). I'll be doing this at Hershey Park in Hershey, PA while my girlfriend and I are driving to my parent’s house for Christmas. Right now, only my dad knows because he is setting everything up for me in Hershey. Anyway, during Christmas time Hershey Park sets up lights all around their park, which is why I wanted to do this there. I've got it worked out so that my girlfriend and I will be the only ones on the "Kiss Tower" and I'll propose to her up there while we can see all the lights in the park. Then after we come down all of the candy bars will be there in their costumes and one of them will be holding some white and red roses and we'll take some pictures so we can look back on this wonderful night.

I'm struggling with how exactly I want to do this and what I want to say when we're up there. I know this Kiss Tower will be stopped at the top for 2 minutes. Looking at the weather, it looks like it's going to be warm so hopefully she won't be wearing gloves. For right now, this is what I'm thinking:
I'll be standing behind her with my arms around her as we gaze out the window. I don't know the exact words, but I'm going to tell her how much I love her and how much she means to me. Then I was thinking about telling her to close her eyes and I will promise that I will always be there for her. Then I will slide the ring on her finger and turn her around so she is facing me. I'll then get down on one knee and ask her to marry me.
Any comments/suggestions on how I can make this better?

What an awesome plan! I used to live in that part of the country, and went to Hershey Park a few times. This plan is foolproof! :-)

My only suggestion would be to face her (down on one knee, of course), and ask her to marry you as you open the ringbox and present the ring. Then, once she says yes and all those emotions are done, get a second wind of emotions as you slide the ring onto her finger.

Congratulations!!

I dont like the idea either... but not because of the AI thing. Im kinda scared that with all the "behind the scenes" stuff this is going to turn into a big personality/popularity contest and singing will play a real tiny part in it.
