I'm currently looking at purchasing an IGI certified stone. Could I get some expert advice on what is a fair price to pay for it at a jewelry store (and what's a great price)? Also whether it sounds like a good stone?

It's 1.01 carats
F in color
SI1
The jeweler made the measurements as IGI doesn't provice them.

He says:
59% table
61% depth
16.3% crown height
42.1% pavilion
crown angle 34-35%
polish - don't know yet
symmetry - don't know yet
fluroresence- don't know yet

Please let me know if I'm missing any important considerations also.

thanks,
jgr

I wouldn't rely on an "IGI" certification. Should go with AGS or GIA as noted elsewhere on this board.

I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO GO WITH THE GIA
OR THE AGS BECAUSE IT MORE RECOMMENDED AND RECOGNIZABLE IN THE INDUSTRY

YOU ARE MISSING THE SHAPE OF THE STONE.
BECAUSE THE SHAPE IS IMPORTANT AS WELL BECAUSE IT DETERMINES THE PRICE AS WELL.
