Hello Everyone:

I am new to the site and only wish I had known about you before my husband bought my anniversary gift. He gave me a GIA certified 1.61 princess cut H color, vvs2, very good symmetry very good polish, medium girdle, no cutlet, no flourescence, 68.4% depth, 65% table with measurements of 6.62 x 6.52 x 4.46 and a crown height o 12.9%. My husband won't tell me the exact price but told me it was in the mid to high $9,000 range. I have an appointment for with an independent appraiser next week but would like your opinion and input before I go to him.

I love the my ring and he was so sweet to get it for me since I've always wanted a larger diamond than I have. I just want to make sure my husband didn't pay too much and got the right stone for his money. Neither one of us is too diamond savvy.
