HELP! I'm in love with the 1.5-1.75 k brilliant cut round diamond ring with channel diamond on the sides. Is it really worth it for my bf to spend $28,000.00 on a ring from Tiffany's? Everyone says they have the best cuts.
Is there another place we can go in Los Angeles to find similar rings at a lower cost?

There are some fine reasons to shop at Tiffany's but very few people go there for the low prices. There are plenty of dealers who sell awsome cuts for lower prices. Start by educating yourself about what constitutes good cutting. There are some first rate dealers here who can go toe to to with Tiffany on every topic, including cutting, and come in at considerably better prices. Read through the forum and notice which ones seem to be giving good advice, then check their websites or call them up and ask what can do within your budget. You're likely to be impressed. That, in turn, will give you something to have your local jewelers beat. Beating Tiffany is easy. Beating some of these guys is pretty hard.
