I am looking to buy an engagement ring, most likely from Tiffany's. I am probably going to spend about $23-25K, but would be willing to go as high as 30K if I saw something I really liked.

I am looking for a round ideal cut, no less than F color, at least VVS2. What size ring am I looking at in my budget range from Tiffany's? Thanks so much in advance for any help.

That seems like a topic that the people at Tiffany's would be THRILLED to discuss with you. Ask 'em. If you want to have an idea of what to expect before you show up in their showroom, give them a call on the phone before your visit.

Thanks, for the advice. Are they really going to sit down and talk with me even though I tell them that I'm still a few months away from buying? Thanks.

That's what sales people DO! Any that won't, don't deserve your business.

Hi cwh812,

You can plug in your parameters in the jeweler search tool provided by this forum diamond search
Just plug in your parameters and look for sizes 1.5 to 3 cts. Once you have the results, you can sort them by price and find the range you are comfortable with. Alternatively, there are a number of on-line jewelers who offer a similar search tool that includes a price range.
Tiffany usually comes in higher in price than the numbers you will see on-line and the diamonds, especially ideal cuts, are the same.

Good luck in your search,

George

Thanks guys for your help. It is really appreciated. I am at the beginning stages and may have more questions in the future, especially if I decide not to go the Tiffany route.

No, never go to Shenoa & Co because they flood the forums with make believe buying experiences from people who work for them.
