Dear collegues,

After one year of data collecting, the implementation of “historycal gemstone prices and trends” online module has been completed and released by Gemval.com. We monitor aggregated valuation data since July 2005 for 23 gemstone varieties; value charts are updated monthly. The implementation includes also the GVA index, which is calculated as a total value of 26 gem specimens (GVA basis gemstone set) and reflects overall pricing trends in the online jewelry market. The current value of GVA is measured in %%, as a ratio of current GVA value to the initial value on July 2005.
