Hi Waleed- sounds very very fishy to me.
No dealer can sell a nice looking 1.60 diamond for $2000

Waleed,
This deal doesn't look good so far. Clairty of 'I' is a very broad category. In standard grading, this is subdivided into 3 categories called I-1, I-2 & I-3 and they cover a lot of ground. I-3 is for stones that are not transparent, have serious structural problems or similar things that make them not suitable for jewelry purposes. I tend to recommend being careful about believing what dealers say anyway but when they SAY it's not a jewelry grade stone I'm more inclined to take them at their word. Who would lie about that?
