I have spent some time looking at the tutorials on this and other websites, and have not been able to find any guidance as to what constitutes good proportions for an Asscher cut. I am about to buy one to be set in an engagement ring, and having spent as much time as I have making this decision, I would like to get the detail right!

Would anybody be able to assist me?

Thanks

James

Like many cuts that are not round, it is difficult to assign a "number" to them.. Fancy cuts can look wildly different yet have the same numbers so the best way is to simply look at the stone and see if it is beautiful..
