Stores seem to charge anywhere from about $50/ct to a few hundred per carat depending both on the stone and on the nature and location of the store. Mountings, of course, cost extra. Presumably you've seen a stone since you know you like it, what can you tell us about the deal being offered?

Hi Dave,
Virtually all the black diamonds offered for sale are irradiated to obtain the black color and are not considered a "Fancy Color" in the same way that term is used to descibe an actual fancy color diamond
