interested in fair price for diamond

I am interested in buying a diamond, AND I would like to know a fair price for the stone. THe dealer is asking $26,000. Here is the EGL certification:

If you're seriously considering this, hire an independent appraiser to look at it. Details are important and $26k is quite a bit of money. An educated opinion by someone who is working for you (as opposed to someone working for the seller) can be very useful. A few hundred bucks here can save you a lot of potential grief.
