I have no more than 5000 to spend. I want an emerald cut diamond in a very simple platinum setting. What is the largest diamond I can get in that cut that will look perfect to the naked eye? Letter and ratings of that a diamond like that?

Hi Emeraldz,
Let's assume a price of $800 for the setting- leaving us $4200 for your emerald cut diamond.
IF you could find a nice H/SI2, in a 1.00 size, that mightq work.
The problem is that many SI2 emerald cuts are, well.....butt ugly.
So, you might want to go with a lower color- like a J color- whoch should allow you to get a better clarity on a 1.00 in your budget......
