The diamond I am looking at is a round (G) Color and I2 Clarity. I know I2 is visible natural inclusions I just want to know what is a good price range.

Thanks,
JRWJR

You can use the button at the top of the page called 'find online jeweler' to look at offers from a variety of dealers using the same weight/clarity/color/shape combinations as what you're considering. There are other important variables but this can be pretty useful in setting a budget, even if you aren't planning on buying anything online.

Do you have more details about the diamond (like whight and proportion)?

If you'd like to post the asking price, we'll be happy to comment.

My advice would be:

Do not purchase an I-2 clarity sight-unseen.

I-2 clarity diamonds can vary so greatly in looks that wholesale values may vary $1000.00 depending on how the stone looks.

If you have photos, post them here and you will receive much more meaningful feedback on your question.

Great point Brian- I2's are absolutely impossible to judge without visual inspection.
We just had a lovely I2- but that's rare.......
